17 Sep Ballerina Themed Baptism in Aegina
Nikoleta’s baptism had a “ballerina” theme. The theme was “born” from the favor, followed by the invitation, and defined by the colors and the romantic yet girly style.
The baptismal dress Nikoleta wore was from the “exclusive by Happy Events” collection. The baptism took place at the chapel of Agioi Apostoloi at the Bouza lighthouse in Aegina, as most of us know it. The day, a Friday, was blessed as it was the Day of the Holy Cross; it was a sunny day, and the guests enjoyed the sacrament under the awnings.
The church decoration was chic and romantic, with ribbons and fabrics of lace and gauze in soft shades of white and pink. A very beautiful mirror with a ballerina, ribbons, and flowers decorated the entrance. Inside the chapel where the baptism was held, we placed a table with the guest book, all decorated in the same style, along with the favors. The favor was a ballerina on stone.
The decoration was completed by the candy bar with refreshing orange juice, fresh water, and chilled champagne. What everyone loved was the freshly roasted Aegina pistachios and the delicious cupcakes on the dessert table.
